Oyado Koto No Yume ligger blot 2 minutters gang fra Takayama Station og har farverige værelser i japansk stil, kildevandsbade, en restaurant der serverer morgenmad samt gratis wi-fi i hele bygningen. This is my second time staying here and I love it, everything is perfectly detailed, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast is delicious, you truly feel the Japanese hospitality, I recommend it 100%

K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel ligger i Shizuoka i en 100 år gammelt fredet hus, blot 7 minutters gang fra JR Ito Station. This is a beautiful and tranquil ryokan that has a calming atmosphere. It backs to the river and our room overlooked it. There is also shared eating spaces adjacent to the river. It is extremely clean, has a shared cooking area with mostly everything you need to make your own meals. The onsen was incredibly relaxing and spa-like. There are also laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is just a short 8 minute walk from the train/bus station. Our family of 5 (kids ages 7-13) absolutely loved it and would definitely return to stay here!! And the price for a ryokan/onsen is unbeatable. Plus, with the Jogasaki coast, Mt Omuro, Zoo and waterfalls, there is plenty to do on the peninsula and it’s easy to get around.

Iroriyado Hidaya ligger 1,5 km fra Takayama Station og er et nyrenoveret 4-stjernet overnatningssted i Takayama med have, fælles opholdsstue og privat parkering. The staff is really great and the treatment is beyond excellent. They were always amazing and make sure we had a great time. The hotel is really beautiful and you get to sleep in a real Japanese ryokan

Atami Sekaie ligger i Atami, 2,6 km fra Atami Sun Beach, 25 km fra Hakone-Yumoto Station og 35 km fra Shuzen-ji-templet. Der er restaurant på stedet, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Toraya ligger i Gero, 48 km fra Takayama Station og 49 km fra Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. Der er fælles opholdsstue og rolig gadeudsigt. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Room is clean,spacious with a warm vibe. The private hot spring is perfect.

Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse ligger i Higashiizu, blot 4 km fra de varme kilder i Atagawa. Vires vært var utrolig sød og hjælpsom. Vi glemte en taske ved afrejse, og han sørgede for at sende den afsted med posten med det samme! Meget gæstfri person, der sørger for at man har det godt.

Nagataki ligger i Nakatsugawa, 13 km fra Ōi og 34 km fra landsbyen Japan Taisho. Der er have og udsigt til haven. Ejendommen er allergivenlig og ligger 12 km fra Enakyo Wonderland. Incredible place to stay. I spent two nights here, enjoying the local scenery and had the pleasure of eating some great food (which was an amazing set of back-to-back courses). I'd highly recommend it for people wanting to hike from Magome to Tsumago as the hosts were kind enough to drop us off at our start point via their bus.

The hotel is situated on the sea, with an uninterrupted view, a great experience.From check-in, to the onsen, and Japanese breakfast and dinner, plus afternoon tea, we truly experienced traditional Japanese service and enjoyed it very much. From the pick up at the train station to the final drop off at the train station, the two nights and three days were the highlight of our two week trip to Japan. In particular, the lady who brought the food and beverage service to the room was very touching in her seriousness and professionalism.The receptionist is also warm and friendly, very patient and explain one by one.
